The Automatic Bag Slitting Machine minimizes human interaction with hazardous materials by efficiently cutting open bags and transferring contents to specified utilities. Bags are first conveyed via a belt conveyor to the Bag Slitting Unit, where they are cut and the material is unloaded into a Material Hopper equipped with a vibrator for optimal unloading. The material then flows into a Weighing Hopper as needed.
After weighing, the material is conveyed to the designated utility. To prevent powder from becoming airborne during slitting, a Dust Collector above the Bag Emptying Unit captures and redirects these particles back into the drum. The Dust Collector includes customized filter bags and an automatic purging system with actuated valves that use pressurized air to clean the filters.
